Local SEO and search in Chartres

Be found by the customers already looking for what you do.

I work on a site's search visibility the way I build it: from what is measured, not from what gets claimed. An audit, technical fixes, pages written for your local searches, then follow-up.

What is included.

The exact scope is set in the quote, after a scoping call.

What a search engagement covers

  • Technical audit: indexing, tags, structured data, redirects and duplicate content.
  • Core Web Vitals: load time, layout stability and responsiveness, measured on mobile.
  • Local SEO: pages written for your town and your trade, a Google business listing and consistent local citations.
  • Multilingual SEO where the site is published in several languages: hreflang tags, one URL and one piece of content per language.
  • Redesigns without losses: a redirect plan and checks before and after the switch.

How the project runs.

One person from the first call to launch.

  1. 01

    Audit

I measure what is there: indexing, performance, page structure and the queries already covered.

  2. 02

    Prioritisation

I rank what needs fixing by expected effect and by effort, and tell you what is not worth doing.

  3. 03

    Fixes

Technical work, content and internal linking. Fixes go live in batches, not in one drop.

  4. 04

    Follow-up

We watch what moves in Search Console and adjust. Search visibility is won over time.

Questions about local SEO.

How long before I see a result?
Technical fixes are picked up within a few weeks; positions move over several months. Nobody can promise you an exact place in Google, and I will not do it either.
Can you look after my Google listing?
Yes. Creating or taking over the business listing, categories, service area, photographs, and keeping the information consistent with the site and the local directories.
Does the site have to be rebuilt to rank better?
Not always. I start with the audit: in many cases targeted fixes are enough, and a redesign is only justified when the technical base is genuinely in the way.
Can a redesign cost me positions?
Yes, if it is handled badly. That is why the redirect plan, the URL structure and the migration checks are done before the switch, not after it.
Do you work on sites in several languages?
Yes. The Loiselet catalogue is published in several languages, with one URL and one piece of content per language and the hreflang tags linking the versions together.
