AlertJO needed to notify its users quickly from continuously updated data, while absorbing significant traffic spikes at key moments.
Solution
A Next.js application in TypeScript with PostgreSQL and Drizzle ORM: regular data ingestion, alert triggering and a simple interface to manage notifications.
Outcome
A stable, fast application able to handle irregular traffic, with a technical base that is easy to maintain and extend.
